I am Nicky, an all round canine (and fitness and people) enthusiast.

Whilst doing extensive research before getting my first puppy, I realised that the wealth of information online was overwhelming and in many cases contradictory, and that I still had so many unanswered questions.

I had always wanted to pursue a career centred around dogs, and know that in addition to understanding how dogs learn and how to teach behaviours, excellent communication with clients, and the ability to explain things in a way that they will understand, is a must. I have been working in client facing roles in the corporate world since 1999 and therefore have the ability to convey information related to dog training and behaviour in an effective and digestible manner.

I am based in Guildford, and use only kind, force free and positive reward-based training methods.

I am a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (MAPDT 1712) which means that I have been assessed against their standards and Code of Practice, and promise to conform to the Association’s ethics of using only kind, reward-based training methods. I also hold numerous qualifications from the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and am a Scentwork Instructor (SWUK Tier 1).

I am Canine First Aid trained, DBS checked and fully insured.
